Description
During the night protect your barricade against the oncoming hordes. Manage your time during the daylight hours to search for weapons survivors and to repair.
Very well done game, can be a bit short however.

~The Demon That Started It All~
This is an awesome game, and I got the barret rifle, which PWNS!
20 days... wish it would last longer, and that you could move to different locations, like perhaps a warehouse, a garage, a building lobby, a hospital. It'd also be neat to have a couple more survivors, or be able to equip survivors with other weapons. My favorite combo is hunting rifle and sawed off shotgun. Would love to have a flame thrower. :)
the aim can be a little,er,crappy,but the rest of the game is awesome.
the "Notes to self" were at times helpful (you can lose people in search parties) & at other times humorous ("write tomorrow's note""If survive,ring mum")
also,I beat the game.

on my opinion i would say THE LAST STAND:BEYOND MILITARY GATES
where you start happy after being rescued but they got in the base and start eating ppl
THAT WOULD BE SO RADICAL!!
To any one who doesnt know how to get the barret, just look 4 weapons after you've collected all the ones on the board, thats the next weapon you get!!!!

If you find this game difficult you can read on for my advices.
Pros : trigger happy gamers will enjoy shooting with no worries about limited ammos clips so this game is very fun, its horror apocalyse themed but with hope: unlike some dumb games where you can only fight till the death there is a goal that is possible to reach and win the game. Time searching/repairing management feature adds a little bit of strategy. Cons: no alternate key setup I won using azerty it required training XD. What the ... even the heavy .50 cal barret cant pierce flatjackets and even helmets !?(it fixed in Last Stand 2: helmets are not 100% bulletproof)
Tactics (Warning could be spoiler)turn sound on. first 2 days only search for survivors. More survivors faster weapons searches +'cade repairs etc and make sure your 'cade isnt hit by zombies : fire at will even when you dont see them yet (you hear them), kill first faster ones and dogs. I never found more than 7 survivors, it seems to be the cap. When the number of persons that search for survivors is lower than those who search for weapons the odds of haveing lost people are greater. But once you got a decent number of survivors from day 3, its more efficient focusing all searches for weapons and only start searching for lost people again if someone is missing (with way more people looking for survivors). that way you will have found decent weapons when you need them the most. Once i even found all weapons and people before the last days so we could focus on repairing cade. My prefered weapons were the Barret (shoots through several zombies at once unless bulletproof) but before I found it I used fast autofire weapons like the AK47 and powerful shots of sawed shotgun to cleanse slow moving tough zombies especially last day aim and keep shooting at legs of flatjacketted undead military you will eventually wipe out all other zombies at same time doing so (try reaching a good angle of fire during reloading time). It is important to kill flatjacketted guys before they reach the cade otherwise your allies will become uneffective shooting only in their flatjacket while other zombies accumulate against the cade and sometimes the only way to get and angle is to down and move back and shooting through cade, it seems to damage cade (but less than zombies so do it anyway when cant do otherwise).
